How to get Deep Sleep

In this modern world or world of technology it is very complex to get a good and deep sleep. We continuously reduce the quality and quantity of sleep. The very first thing that you have to understand is that sleep is about quality not quantity. We are not aware about the importance of sleep. How much deep sleep is important for our body and brain.


So in this article I am going to discuss some methods to get Deep sleep and if you follow these methods definitely you will improve your sleep quality.

How to get Deep Sleep


Pay attention to only informative things.

During the whole day we consume a lot of information and when we are in sleep our mind filters all this information and stores them into permanent memory and also removes the vulgar information. It consumes a lot of time and energy for the brain to filter all this information. So during your consciousness pay attention to only informative things. Then it is easy for the brain to filter it and after it our mind shifts into deep sleep.

Sleep Cycle.

Sleep Cycle also helps to get Deep sleep. Now you have to fix your bedtime and wake up Time and follow it regularly. Sometimes it happens that we are lying in bed and we don't fall asleep. The reason behind this is that we don't have any sleeping schedule. So fix your sleeping schedule and follow it. And one more thing, don't go for power naps and caffeine after evening or in evening.

Blue lights and EMR.

Blue lights and EMR(Electromagnetic radiation) affect our sleep quality. We use mobile phones/laptops that emit blue rays and EMR. Don't use these gadgets before sleeping time. Put these gadgets away from you approximately one hour before sleeping time. If you have work with these gadgets then use night mode.  And also switch off the bulb of your room, maintain the proper darkness. If you have a habit of keeping the bulb on, wear a sleeping mask.

Body posture.

Your posture during sleep also helps you to get Deep sleep. We should sleep on the left side or straight. Keep your brain toward the South Direction but if you are a student keep your brain toward East but never put it in the direction of North or west.

Best utilization of one hour before sleep.

As I already said, put your electronic gadgets away from yourself. During this time you go for reading or learning, but remember to learn only a few things so it becomes easy for the brain to refresh them and store them into permanent memory. I recommend you to read self-improvement articles so your brain properly analyzes them. Remember the brain focuses more on that work which you did just before sleeping. 15 minutes before sleeping time keep your mind stable, don't allow the thoughts to come. These help you to get Deep and good quality sleep.
