Beta Brain Waves

 Brainwaves are electrical impulses in the brain. An individual’s behavior, emotions, and thoughts are communicated between neurons within our brains. All brain waves are produced by synchronized electrical pulses from masses of neurons communicating with each other. Our brain waves occur at various frequencies.

So let's understand the functioning of Beta Brainwaves.

These brain waves have the frequency range of 13-30 Hz. A normal human spends most of the time in this state. In Beta state normally 45-60 thoughts came in our brain, which is equal to the monkey mind.

As most of the time of our day we spend in the Beta state. But our brain starts producing Beta brain waves when we wake up. Our mind starts taking information from different parts of the body and we come into our consciousness. And again a lot of thoughts start running in our Brain.

Beta Brain waves are produced in our Brain due to DMN( Default Mode Network). In this mode a number of thoughts are running in our brain. And most of the time we remain in the DMN mode.

Beta Brain Waves are of two types.

1) Low frequency Beta Brainwaves

2) High frequency Beta Brainwaves 

Low frequency Beta Brainwaves

Low frequency Beta Brainwaves, as clear from its name. These brain waves are produced when we are in a normal state. 

This state doesn't have any negative effects but it also doesn't have any Benefits. For good focus and concentration we have to control the quantity of the thoughts.

High frequency Beta Brainwaves

In the modern world, because of overthinking , most people suffer from Depression, anxiety and stress. And during overthinking our brain produced high frequency Beta Brainwaves. This happens due to the DMN state of the brain. Under this state our brain continuously thinks something and repeatedly thinks the same thought.

According to research in a normal human being brain around 60-80 k thoughts came in a single day. And 80% of thoughts are repeated and negative. Because of this large quantity of negative thoughts our Brain suffers from overthinking and depression like disease.

But the good point is that we can change this state of Brain. According to study, 15 days of continuous Meditation decreases the frequency of beta brain waves in our Brain. And also our brains start getting out of the DMN mode.

 And if we continue the Meditation we can also reach the other low frequency Brain waves like Alpha Brain waves, theta Brain waves and these states are powerful enough to achieve the extreme potential of our Brain.
