How to Break the worst Habit

 We do a lot of work during our day, while doing some work we have to put in a lot of energy and while doing some work we do not have to put any energy at all. Such as while taking a bath while brushing and while eating food.

Why this happen?

This is because these actions have become our strong habits. And habits are a part of our subconscious mind. And because of habits we save our lot of time and energy in doing these types of tasks, but the problem is that our subconscious mind cannot differentiate between good and bad habits. Along with good habits, we also have some bad habits. Where good habits have benefits, bad habits have lot of disadvantages. So its necessary for us to stop these bad habits. It will not happen in a day.

In this article I will share a genuine method to quit/stop any bad habits. 

How to Break the worst Habit


First you have to understand how habits work means how a habit form. Three factors are working behind the formation of any habit.

1. Trigger, means what thing, what situation or what person force you to do that work

2. Routine, means how you perform the task(bad habit)

3. Reward, finally the satisfaction that you got. Bad habits are more attractive as compared to good habits, because we get reward( rewards means the satisfaction you get) easily in bad habits and also we get instantly happiness but this happiness is temporary. Rewards is about the feelings and it difficult to control our feelings.

I take a example for this article that you are addicted towards videogames.

How to deal with trigger

You have to find out who encourage you to play games, may be he is your friend. So the next time when you meet your friend you have to discuss a different topic with him about anything it may be a movie or something else. But remember discuss a good topic because we have to replace our bad habits with good habits. In this way you also help your friend to quit this habit. 

One more example you spend much time on social media, so find our the reason what force you and if you use it in order to talk someone, then the easiest thing is make a phone call to that friend.

In this way you have to find out your trigger.

How to change routine

You play videogame with your friend. Now find out where you play, when you play. Take a condition that you play when you go for a walk in evening, so you have to invite your other friends for the walk and automatically you spend your time with your friends in conversations, but remember don't invite those friends who already addicted towards games.

How to destroy the root of Bad habit

Its important to finish the bad habit completely and for this your dedication is required. Now you thinking that I made a lot of dedication to quit my bad habits still I couldn't leave them. The reason is because you don't train your mind to take your dedication seriously. Example, you go for a walk with your friend and you decide to come back at 7 but your friend force you for more half an hour and you ready, cleary you send a message to your brain not to take your decision/dedication seriously. And we send the same message a lot of time to our brain and this thing destroy our willpower also. Sometimes because of situations we have to change our decision but when the situations are in our hand then we don't have to change our decision even if it is a small decision.
